Fantastic, the yellow streak is gone and there's a bit of a nod to the umbro 80's kit. I may even buy one this year!

Where's the sponsor?

Neither Hutton nor Gomes. Clearly not a player is the bald fella. Not in a kit. Just some random journo or clinger-on.

Looks horrible to me. We haven't had a decent kit since the 70s.

tops look nice but the socks look navy - I much prefer clean white socks.

Looks a bit like the England Admiral strip of the 80's that Keegan was famous for wearing.

Quite happy with this new one of ours but pray they dont ruin it with ANOTHER red logo in the middle of it.

oh yeah...white socks all the way!!

Yellow streak goodbye, stupid bloody square bits on the shoulders hello(WTF!!!!!!). I seem to remember England were pretty average when we had a kit like this in the 80's. Hopefully that's not an omen and this isn't our new home kit. hahahahahahahahahahahahahah did someone say we've got blue socks? Now if that were true I'd laugh my booblies off. Blue socks, with the home kit, hahahahahahahahaha, whatever next, yellow streaks down the shirt! I don't mind retro but let's have a retro Spurs kit.

This will be the kit. We will also use white socks. Our sponsor next year will be Virgin. (1 year deal only), and the logo will be red.

The Virgin sponsorship rumour is true, only if we get into CL. it will be Virgin Money

Lol I can imaging the piss taken out of us for having the word virgin on our shirts

Looks ok. I think Puma are a secondary kit supplier, compared to say Umbro who I believe are the best designers out there. Nike are a bit plain, and of course Adidas are good, but their contribution to the 2009/2010 season was not that hot, offering breast pockets on Jerseys kinda thing - hideous. Good kop though fair play.

shame weve got to slap sponsors and prem league badges on it! others have tried dabbling with retro inspirations spurs have grabbed it by the bollocks and done the whole job!! love it

probably find that these are publicity photos and the new sponsor will be super-imposed onto the photos, with world cup in the summer there will be precious little time for such things

Hate it. Absolutely hate it! Why can't we have a striking bold design like, say Manchester United's kit this season, instead of this fiddly nonsense with squiggles and coloured shoulders n stuff?

Retro cool. Liking it big time. This season's is so naff - we deserve a good one to make up for it!

Well 'Anonymous 12:34', we are not ManUre. Their kits are made by Nike, ours by Puma. We have a say in the design whereas Nike and Adidas use the same layout for all their clubs. Have a look this summer at the World Cup and tell me whether the Holland, Brasil and US jerseys don't look similar. Much in the same way Chelsea and Liverpool's looked alike in previous seasons.

'Anonymous 1:45', this looks nothing like Bolton's kit.

I think we should chill a bit until proper images come out.

Dreadful.....again. How friggin hard can it be to produce a nice looking kit??

Just a thought but bear with me ...
Would having dark socks make it harder to pick up a players quick leg movement, dummying, etc?
Would having dark patches on the shoulders be more illusion like when a corner is taken, with the opposition player insisting on finding your shoulder to put his hand/arm - basically weight, on to beat you?
Clear white shirts so we can find our players with a pass but clever camoflauge (?) in places to disguise leg movement or dropping a shoulder.
.... Well in my world it sounds good!

This is the best kit we had for some time.we look like real winners in this kit.The navy on the shirts are great, possibly sleeves should have more navy, and as for the socks, pure midnight blue, looks a complete home kit.

Well, I think it looks the best we've had since the plain Kappa one. It's not fantasic, cos Puma aren't fantastic designers - look at all those awful African kits at the World Cup, but it's their best effort for us.

I also prefer white socks, but we have had navy socks plenty of times before in our history, including some successful spells, so definitely a historical precedent, unlike those disgusting yellow panels.

Fingers crossed we get 'Tailored by Umbro' for 2011/12...

Personally, I dont mind what the kit looks like at all, I only care what happens on the pitch and we should all get behind the team, and cheer them on like last season, this is the great Tottenham Hotspur we're looking at, and they WILL be heading back to the glory days!
