Stalteri loaned out

Stalteri has joined Fulham on loan until the end of the season. I doubt we shall see him in a Spurs shirt again as we now have Chimbonda, Hutton, Gunter and Lee who can all play the in the right back position.

Stalteri will always be remembered for sinking West Ham in the 95th minute. What a game that was - I was there and it was fantastic to see Paul slip the ball into the net.

Good luck Paul.

Gilberto done

Gilberto's rather long transfer has been completed tonight. Excellent sources on COYS and SO reckon the signing is done. The medical stuff from earlier was used to either reduce the fee or shorten the contract he wanted, or so the rumors say lol - could be rubbish of course.

Now we need a last minute striker lol.

Defoe agrees to go

It looks like Jermaine Defoe has realised that he unfortunately has no future at Spurs after we accepted a bid of around £10 million earlier today from Portsmouth. Reliable sources on FTL thought he would stay earlier today but he knows he will be the main man at Portsmouth, something he won't be at Spurs.

Our immediate problem is being left with only two fit strikers and Bent has hardly been setting the world on fire. In fact Bent has been abysmal and if Berbs or Keane get injured we could find it difficult.

Good luck Jermaine

Woodgate Complete

As rumored all week and confirmed by ITKs yesterday Woodgae has officially signed for Spurs. A rumored third club became involved today, apparently Ar5ena1 but Wenger denies this. He probably failed to see him.

Woodgate joins the highest earners at Spurs such as Robbie Keane and Berbatov and will also have additional bonuses paid for various achievements. I hope some of these are appearence based as he has had his fair share of injuries to contend with in the past few years. He also sensibly turned down Newcastle who appear to be going nowhere and now has odious toad Dennis Wise to further stir things up for the biggest club in Newcastle.

Woodgate is eligible for the UEFA cup and will definetly be fit for Saturday, if not Wednesday.

Woodgate done and others

Reliable sources from FTL, SO and COYS have said that Woodgate has passed his medical over the weekend and will sign a three and a half year deal tomorrow. An excellent defender, he has had trouble with injuries so I suspect it was a tough medical Spurs put him through. Woodgate and King would make an excellent defensive pairing as long as they can both stay fit. This will see Dawson as back up as he seems to be error prone without King beside him.

Gilberto, the Hertha Berlin fullback, will have a medical tomorrow and assuming he passes will sign on the dotted line in the week.

Hutton is still on and off but if he signs Chimbonda will be gone, possibly to Sevilla.

Cerny looks like he will keep his place in goal, even after a mistake today, as no new keeper is due before the summer.

We may be back in for Downing with a cheeky last minute bid to test 'Boro but with £7 million already going there way they will hopefully resist our advances.

Spurs Arsenal Highlights.

No commentary so you can hear the fantastic atmosphere all the more clearer.

Spurs destroy Arsenal

Spurs thrashed the life out of the scum last night with an emphatic 5-1 demolition of Wenger's team. Spurs were absolutely brilliant throughout the game and never allowed Arsenal to play any kind of attacking, free flowing football.

We had the perfect start after less than 2 minutes. Jenas, who was brilliant, strode through the Arsenal midfield and hit a wicked shot in off the far post to make it 1-0 on the night. White Hart Lane erupted and the noise in the stadium did not stop from then until well after the end of the game. For any scum fans or players who may stumble upon this little blog the noise you heard was called an atmosphere. As there is none at the Emirates, even though it can hold 60,000 odd fans it must have been a scary experience.

Soon after Spurs were two nil up as Bendtner score a fantastic own goal under pressure from Dawson. It was almost three before the break with Berbatov hitting the post and Jenas the side netting. The scum were rocking and had replaced Denilson early on with Fabregas. Denilson was injured apparently but only remembered to limp down the tunnel when one of the scum management reminded him he was supposed to be limping.

The main difference between Jol and Ramos became clear in the second half. Under Jol we would have sat back and defended the two nil lead but Ramos and the increasingly insane Poyet pushed the lads on for more. Berbatov and Lennon combined well to release Keane for a great volley to make it 3-0. Lennon than took on a great pass from Keane to kill of the scum. 4-0 to the mighty Spurs in an hour.

By now the scum fans were sneaking out and we knew we were on our way to Wembley 'cause we beat the Arsenal.

The goons hit one back from Adebayor but Steed put the icing on the cake by scoring the fifth and thrashing the Woolwich Scum 5-1.

The atmosphere was fantastic all night and block 19 was rocking from start to finish. When I got in I had to watch it again and there were some great little moments off the pitch. Ramos just holding the ball out of some vagrants hands as Wenger got all worked up and Keane performing a little dance when the fifth went it.

It was great to hear the Chas n Dave classic at the end and to see Mr Grumpy storm off down the tunnel. Arsehole was moaning. Nothing went our way was his main line of defense and his very young team were gutted. He also failed to see Adebayor attacking another goon as they turned on there own. Disgraceful. He finally admitted we were the better team but it was through gritted teeth.

As usual Wenger likes to bend the truth and he failed to mention that Fabregas, Sagna, Gallas, Gilberto, Adebayor, Hleb and Diaby all played. In fact Yidoman on FTL came up with a great stat that showed if you added up all the Premier League appearances for this season our team only had 7 more games - 153 to 146.

So we are off to Wembley after thrashing, destroying and annihilating the scum. Viva Ramos!

Downing Deal could Collapse

Top notch sources from Come On You Spurs believe that the Downing deal could fall flat on its face. Personal terms are far from agreed and there is a get out clause in Downing's contract that we are unwilling to pay. In true Spurs fashion we are expecting the player to cough up the release fee, something Downing is not keen to do.

Considering he has turned us down in the past and is not playing any better than Steed at the minute the thought of this transfer collapsing has cheered me up no end.

The most worry piece of information to come out though is that Downing is a 100% Clownolli deal and has little to do with Ramos. If true it sees our Sporting Director once again sticking his nose in where it is unwanted.

Downing to sign

Every ITK going on FTL and COYS! seems to have this signing on our radar and it sounds like Downing will finally be a Spurs player in this transfer window. The same Stewart Downing who is currently being booed by his current set of supports at 'Boro. The same Downing our illustrious Sporting Director, Comedy Comolli, has been chasing ever since he got here.

Why we continue to buy dross is beyond me and Downing will be another dross signing. The fee is apparently in the region of £5 million with the possibility of Tainio going the other way. I'd rather have Tainio than a sulky left winger who, IMO, has not played anywhere near the level of Malbranque this season.
