"It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory." Bill Nicholson. SPURS

Kemsley jumped before he could be pushed.

Thank goodness that odious toad is no longer involved with Spurs after he jumped before Levy actually had to fire him. The back stabber who has done more than Jol ever could to undermine the season has left but is still crawling around in the background.

Reliable ITKs suggest that Kemsley went to Spain to court Ramos without permission from the board and was continually working behind Jol's back to undermine him for either Ramos or his mate Redknapp.

Now he has gone it turns out that is actually Kemsley's company who owns the buildings around WHL so if we are to expand our home since 1889 he will have to be involved again.

Other notable achievements including wasting millions on two failed and flawed planning applications for a new training ground. Unfortunately rumours continue to grow that he is about to team up with millionaire friend and Newcastle owner Ashley and attempt a take over.

Lets hope this slob comes nowhere near WHL again.

COYS!

A bit harsh I feel. If he'd been successful and we'd have got Ramos, we would no doubt be in a better position than we are now under Jol, who is clearly out of his depth. He was acting in what he thought and probably was the best interests of the club as events have shown.

Very harsh, and putting "ITK'S" doesn't make it any more accurate.

I cannot believe the Director of a company would do what he did without the knowledge of the Chairman. Such vitriol is ill placed.

Far more likely is that they fell out over the reports (which would have had substance) that Kemsley wants to buy Spurs (the timing fits better, for one thing).

Quite how that makes him a 'toad' and a 'slob' I don't know.

Poor writing mate. Very poor.

A friend of mine went to meet with him last June. He told him that there are a few people that wanted Jol out, and that they want to sell Defoe too. Kemsley was obviously the fall guy for the Jol debacle so there's truth in this article.

Honestly, some on from up high in the Spurs Board Room had to go after such a bad period of PR.

So not so harsh....and please remember everyone, Jol - 2 5th place finishes and best manager for last 2 decades. COYS!

May be a told but he loves Spurs and was trying to do what he felt was right for the club. If someone buys us, I hope it's him and not some far east consortium who couldn't give a monkeys about us or the club!

I dont think we've seen the last of paul kemsley - he is a lifelong spurs fan and is apparently having a house built in herts. i suspect he wants to be no 1 and will return as a buyer of the club (or as a member of a buyout team). if he was going to go because of the ramos debacle that would have happened weeks ago. he wasnt on his own when he met ramos and surely didnt go without 'permission'. he was a primer mover in training ground and stadium schemes - everyone knows that planning applications/rejections/renegotiations/resubmissions are a long and expensive process - it would have been a miracle if they were passed first time.

What a great piece of misinformed rubbish! The properties around WHL were purchased by Rock Investments which is a company owned by the Tavistock Group who are the ultimate owners of Spurs. Kemsley is a Director of Rock and he will get a profit when the properties are sold but the assets belong to Joe Lewis. Levy is the Chairman of Rock Investments so why not have a pop at him too?

Kemsley is going after the big bucks in USA, with the Tavistock Group, and he is leaving now before the club is sold off.

Know your club before writing such drivel.

A typical brainless Jol loving article. The so call money man, people like Levy and Kemsley are Spurs supporter through and through. They could have gone into business other than football which will generate more money.Kemsley did just that, he is going into REAL business and leaving Spurs.
He stated it very clearly he don't want to be no 2.
Robinson is injured.Good heavens. He is a liability and badly need some time away from the pitch.Being a ex keeper myself, I know that unlike the other positions, you in fact get WORST by spending more time on the pitch during a bad spell.Things play on your mind and each mistake drain your confidence very quickly.

It could be the best thing to happend for both Spurs and ultimately Robinson himself.

Just to add to the goalkeeper issue, look at James, bandished from the England team, left a glamour club like Liverpool but become a better keeper.

Cerny will be more than capable to stand in and will actually win us more points.

I think most spurs fans are blind because they can not see that. Paul kemsley has the clubs best intrests at heart.I admit that he was wrong to go and talk to Ramos behind jol's back and he was stupid to get caught. Although Ramos is clearly a better manager than Jol he has shown with less money and a inferior squad to ours. That he can take a team into the champions leauge win 2 uefa cups and turn freddie kanoute into a top striker.Something Jol could not manage to do. I would rather have kemsley and Mike Ashley in charge of spurs rather than some unknow foregin investor.

I suspect Kemsley is going away to set up a consortium to buy the club. Who knows if he's good or bad, what's he's done or what he hasn't, one things for sure is that he will return...
