Woolwich Vs. Tottenham Hotspur

The second leg is tomorrow and the winners get the honor of playing Chavski at Cardiff towards the end of next month and would be our first cup final since 2001. We have not made life easy for ourselves after surrendering a 2-0 lead at White Hart Lane last week. As it current stands the scum would go through on away goals so we have to score.

This will at least force Jol to not play the negativity card as we will have to attack. You could see our game plan was to let them have the ball in their own half last week and from that position Fabregas murdered us with Huddlestone or Zokora having no answer to his play from midfield. Fabregas will likely be rested tomorrow but Gilberto will return looking to break up our attacks from the middle and to stop the forward runs of JJ.

Berbatov is injured so I am not sure who will line up with Defoe. Keane has stacks of ability but can be very frustrating at times. He was good up front with Mido on Saturday but playing two short men will make the long diagonal ball from Dawson redundent. Mido is the other option but he is getting worse and worse and has now got Raziakitis with his inability to jump for high balls. Of course he could be a hero come final whistle tomorrow and we should back any team that is put on at the cradle of filth tomorrow.

Spurs can beat the old enemy and we must arrive tomorrow with the right attitude. Too often in away games we have gone looking for a point. A 0-0 will be no good tomorrow and we have to score. We can do it, we just have to believe.

COYS!

Dump the scum and I know we can do it. Berba will be a big miss but we have got other strikers in our team who are capable of turning the scum upside down. I may be nervous but I know we can do this.

I think we can do it , IT will be an evening of JOY whatever happens as if we lose us fans will be appeased by the SIGNING OF BALE will be announced just before or just after. He has signed and will join in the summer, we realistically have little in the league to play for and he is cup tied in both competitions, so will help with the Southampton Prem Push. Sorry to spoil the thunder but think the fans need to know!!!

MJ should put 5 in midfield behind Keane.

I wouldn't to rely on Meedo to bust his gut for us..he's never been fully match fit & after the recent layoff the most we can expect is 60 mins from him.

I'd like to see Lennon & Taarabt on the wings bombing forward every chance they get.

I,m glad everyone is nervous, that shows there is some belief! It is like a cup final tonight. It's about making no mistakes and forcing errors. I think I will sleep during the game as it will be excutiatingly tense whatever the score.....

I do hope our draw last week is a blessing in disguise. The disapointment we had last week could turn into euphoria come tonight!!! Imagine if we beat the scum last week by 2-1, we could have play defensively & the scum will go all out to beat us. But now it's the opposite where we will attack all out & the scum will try to frustrate us by playing defensively. COYS....let us be the 1st to beat the scum at their home ground.

does anyone know why lennon is on the bench? is Jol hoping to make sure he has fresh legs just for the end?

How can you not bring on Lennon when you need a goal? Better question: Why did Jol start 2 DM's in Ghaly and Zokora?

Very dissapointed. I'm gutted Spurs cannot ever seem to beat the dasterdly Scum.

They have let us all down, we can't even beat the Arsenal youth team.

The one who has let us down most is you Martin you are dog shit.

I don't know what passes for mangement in holland but you should fuck off back their.

We are going backwards and Martin you are a cunt.

JOL OUT
JOL OUT
JOL OUT
JOL OUT

and before someone say's it he's got us to this semi final, we played low league teams all the way.

and then lose to a second team

Ah, it seems Lennon had fallen ill before the match (lasagne?), so Jol's hands were tied. It is dissaponting, but clearly you "Jol out" monkeys are Gooners looking to wind us up. Any game can be won or lost, but losing to scum is always extra heart-wrenching. Let's face it though, Spurs lost this tie in the second half of the home game -- everyone knows it. Grrr

Thank god I'm a Spurs supporter!

I'd hate to support a team that has a whole history of cheating behind them..

How can you guys truly say you honestly win anything?

I'm backing Chelsea to smash your kids in the final unless of course you poison their entire squad.

SHAME on the SCUM

Look, we were never likely to beat them in this semi. Captain Ledders out, no natural left winger, no right winger 2nd leg, best striker out, central midfielder just back from weeks out injured, 2nd rate left back and a 'brand new' central defender. C'mon it was never gonna happen against a full compliment of scum talent. Youth team my arse! They're millions of pounds worth of some of the best young talent from all over, managed by one of the best managers in the world whether I like it or not. We are 3 top players away from a great team and we've a handful of promissory 16 to 18 year olds a season or so away from 1st team action. So this is not a sign of collapse so much as the stumble of an incomplete, unbalanced and developing side whose best days are without question ahead of them. The biggest question for me is not whether we win anything this season, it's whether Levy & Comolli are able to pay for and tempt a top-drawer left-back, left-winger and creative central-midfielder to the club.

I'm still very much enjoying our season despite the problems. Five years ago with these same problems we'd have been out of every cup and 4th from bottom.

Keep the faith.

Come on you Spurs!

Our new english centre back Rocha cost more than Traore Toure Hoyte Denison Fabregas Aliadiere and Diaby put together.

Jol is muppet .Even thinking of bouying Bale for 10 mill is madness.

Us buying a 17 year old who has never played prem footy is nuts.

I agree with Park Len .

Get jol out fast

Thanks for showing us explicitly and at great length why despite currently having a less good quality team than yours, we Spurs fans all still feel far superior to you. You've no chance of rising above yourselves no matter how good your team is. Clowns, lol...
