Feyenoord disqualified

UEFA have just announced that Feyenoord have been disqualified from the UEFA cup. Feyenoord were under investigation due to serious crowd trouble when they played French team Nancy earlier in the season. It was expected that Feyenoord would have to play their home leg behind closed doors but following a decision by the UEFA Independent Disciplinary and Control board they have now been disqualified. It also sounds like an appeal by Feyenoord has been refused.

The BBC had this quote:

"The appeal by Feyenoord against the original punishment handed down by the Uefa Control and Disciplinary Body was rejected," said a Uefa statement.

"Feyenoord were also ordered to contact Nancy regarding settlement of the damages."

Other rumors suggest that Feyenoord may have annoyed the supreme controller of all world footballing matters, prize twat David Dein of the scum, although these cannot be confirmed.

It now sounds like we shall get a bye into the next round meaning Spurs all owe us some money for once. Look out for a scam such as it being returned in club vouchers.

COYS!

What a bonus!

I had expected us to progress past a Feyenoord team, not what they were a year or two ago, but now we face either a bye, or if UEFA deem it neccesary for us to have a fixture I would imagine the 4th pklace team from Feyenoords group Wisla Krakow to be our opponents.

Nice, roll on the last 16!

Angel David Dein, who never used his FA position to benefit Arsenal and let them get away with all their behaviour, including the recent exposure of their illegal transfer activities that was brushed under the carpet by his best mate Richard Scudamore. That Dick sure has proved useful to Dein over the years.

He`s been seen at Heathrow with that Johansson, it`s a disgrace, you understand why Jol were screaming `Play on, play on` and I didn`t see anything when Zokora made a fool of your ethics against Pompey, and Berbatovs behaviour against Given and Cheatbondas slap in Butts face...it runs throu your organisation. ;}

Spurs turned in another very average performance at Fulham, pretty at times in the first half...thank god we got an equalizer or it would have been a disaster.

what i worry about is we have young talent yes...but where is the guile and spirit? UNLESS we get a positive result at the Lane against the Arse, i cannot see our team having the fight, or our manager having the guile or motivational skills to raise the current team to win at the Emirates. I would love to be postive, but which player in the team has got a big enough pair of bollox to pull off a win there?

Look what Arsenal achieved today...i would love to see Spurs showing the charachter that they showed today...you have to hand it to them. And before you all say gooner in disguise...i am a lifetime Spurs fan without Lillywhite tinted glasses on, and big enough to say well done when someone deserves it, no matter who it is.

We lack a leader and the management & coaching skills to pull off a shock win when the chips are down i am afraid, and until that is recified, top 6 at best is the BEST we can hope for with the current personnel.

Arsenal, english players 0
Spurs, too many to count

Arsenal, coporate prices & fans
Spurs, healthy mixture

Arsenal, Devious Dean
Spurs, Dippy Levy
(we'll call that one a draw)

Arsenal, Osama Bin Laden Bowl
Spurs, WHL

Arsenal, extortionate prices
Spurs, average to expensive

Arsenal, Euro Cups, 0
Spurs, need I go on.

Bit of a pattern there I think, the on that guiles me the most is the first, no English players. Not an English by any shot. Just a bunch of French paedophiles ripping of African kids.

There is a rumour that southhampton has accepted ouir 10mil offer for Gareth Bale.

Gosh...hope that's true.Convinced the kid that there are too many in front of him at Man U or any of the top 4 and he is automatic 1st choice here...we will land him.

If the Duff rumour is true, I will be over the moon too...

Out of the Lane......Tainio, Murphy, Ekotto (or Lee) and Mido for combined total about 10 mil(that very much pay for Bale)...thanks very much guys but you don't served our cause anymore.

Please Joey Barton... a must get at 5.5 mil ! The one player who can replaced the gap left by Carrick in terms of leadership at 1/4 of the price.

Hey, anyone also toying about the idea of dumping the fat dutchman ?

The dream dream going from what we have and investing properly;

Robinson; Chimbonda,C Davies,King,Bale;Lennon,Huddlestone,Jenas,Duff;Berbatov;Defoe

Subs : B Foster,G Barry,Dawson,Malbranque,Keane.

mistake in previous post....

Robinson; Chimbonda,C Davies,King,Bale;Lennon,Huddlestone,Barton,Duff;Berbatov;Defoe

Subs : B Foster,Jenas,Dawson,Malbranque,Keane.

Jenas could be used a emergency fullback when required. So I dropped the idea of purchasing G Barry.

As for my team above, I gather that another 33 mil will do the trick

B Foster - 3 mil
C Davies (plus Gardner) - 7.5 mil
G Bale - 10 mil
Duff - 7 mil
Joey Barton - 5.5 mil

With the extra 50 mil from TV money next season plus the left over from last year piggy and some sales.

Surely we can fork out that sum ?
