UEFA cup draw

1 Bayer 04 Leverkusen (GER)
2 Club Brugge KV (BEL)
3 Beşiktaş JK (TUR)
4 FC Dinamo 1948 Bucuresti (ROU)
5 Tottenham Hotspur FC (ENG)

Dates of games:

Thursday 19 October - Besiktas (Turkey) (A)
Thursday 2 November - Club Brugge (Belgium) (H)
Thursday 23 November - Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Germany) (A)
Thursday 14 December - Dinamo Bucuresti (Romania) (H)

We are in a tough group due to our low seeding and also have to play the two toughest games away from home. However the top three from each group progresses through to the knock out stages. To progress we have to win both our home games and probably take a point from one of the two away games. I feel that should be enough to take third spot. A away win would probably see us take second. I predict Leverkusen will win the group. Lets hope its fun.

It is a very tough group. We should be good enough to make 3rd atleast but you just don't know. A good start is key. Hopefully if we don't continue to get injuries to key players then I think we will be ok. It should be exciting stuff.

Leverkusen and an away day in deadly Turkey, where they even make kebabs out of the fans, isn’t exactly spot on but then what can you expect when we’re in the 5th pot.

Squad is too thin.
Pressure of playing 3 games every 8 days will be high.

Tough group and cant feel confident.

Think our league form will suffer.

squad is too thin? u having a larf? we've got one of the biggest squads in the premiership. thats the problem with being successful you see, more games. would you rather we played 40 games only like last year?

weve waited too long for a prolonged run in europe to not enjoy now.
stop this negativity and get behind the team. squad rotation will come into play here as im sure Jol will proove.

That group doesn't worry me. Reckon we'll finish 1st or 2nd. We'll continue to improve until we're at least as good as last season. Better probably once berby's up to speed and Lennon's back in the swing of things.
Once we're playing more frequently in euro games and we need to use more of our midfield players you'll see why we bought Steed.

COME ON YOU SPURS!

Very simple really....if we put the ball in the net we will do well. Doesn't matter how, doesn't matter if it's not the spurs way.......look at the Portsmouth game which is one of the few we have won. 2 unremarkable goals won us the game.

OI! MIDO, BERBS, DEFOE, KEANE.....
PUT THE BALL IN THE FUCKING NET!!!!

Because of the vast number of sad goons who love nothing better than regularly visiting this site I would imagine. I have never lowered myself to visit any of theirs but then I'm not a nervy sado.
