Chances, chances, chances.

What a disaster - no goals in four games, four points from six matches and all because we cannot score easy chances that you can guarantee every other Premiership team, plus my nan, would score.

Once again we have shot ourselves in the foot after what was a good performance by Spurs until the 65th minute.

Jol cannot be blamed for our latest defeat. He has picked the strongest eleven available. We still lack width but he does not sign or loan out players, it is done above him. We defended well today and Liverpool had little to show for a lot of huff and puff. Mid way through the second half King missed a sitter, similar to the one he powered in against the scum but today, like Mido against united, he missed the ball. The second half opened up more and we were under more pressure but were coping quite well. We then had a superb counter attack involving Defoe, Davids and the absymal Jenas who managed to miss an open goal when it was easier to score. 38 seconds later Liverpool are winning 1-0 and the game is over. Taking the lead then would have seen take all three points today as we could have shut off the game and counter attacked. Instead we have to chase the game and we loose 3-0.

The rot has to stop. Players like Jenas, who earns more in two weeks than most of us do in a year HAVE to take chances - espeically ones that my school football team would put away. Defoe's body language was also worrying - I am not blaming him for the defeat - that would be ridiculous, but there is something wrong there and if he don't want to be here then he needs to go.

This is a key season - the most important for years - we missed out on CL on the last day last season and this should be the one where we push on, make the UEFA cup as a minimum in the league. We invest heavily brinigning in quality players like Zokora, who looked good again, Berbatov and Chimbonda. We have to turn it around NOW. A run of six defeats caused us to miss out on the UEFA cup in Jol's first season and our poor start to the season will mean the same result if we don't improve. And then what. We risk loosing the most promising Spurs squad since the early 80's. Will we be able to keep King, Robinson, Zokora, Dawson if we slip back into mid table rubbish? There is a fine line between that and success and we are in danger of landing the wrong side. It has to change against Portsmouth on Sunday or I fear it could be the league season over bar the shouting.

Im starting to get worried. Why cant we score. We dont look threatening coming forward but jenas' miss was just typical of whats goin on right now. Defoe looks disintersted and lazy. 3-0 was flattering to liverpool. As soon as Jenas missed all the heads dropped and it was a 'here we go agin' scenario. Weve got a good chance mid week to do some damage to Slavia Prague and build some confidence. Again chimbonda looked good as did Murphy and keane as ever was working hard. We need some luck Our most creative players are out injured which doesnt help either. Sort this out spurs. This is getting embarassing

Jol has not picked the strongest 11.

He played: Robinson, Chimbonda, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto, Jenas, Murphy (Mido, 79), Zokora, Tainio (Davids, 60), Keane, Defoe. Subs: Cerny, YP Lee, Huddlestone.

He should have used Huddelstone instead of Murphy. Mido instead of Defoe. And Zigler instead of Tainio!!!

We have now played 6, won 1, drawn 1 and lost 4. Goals for 2, against 8.

If that is not relegation form, what is?

Jol has three more league games to get some points:

Home 1st Oct Portsmouth
Away 14th Oct Aston Villa
Home 21st Oct West Ham

otherwise he will defintely be sacked!!

JENAS MUST GO. I'm not usually one to come down on a player like this, but enogh is enough. The guy is CRAP, pure unadulterated shite. Even before 'that' incident I was praying the MJ was gonna sub him instead of Tainio. How many passes missed? How many crosses skied? Anyone see the look Defoe gave him after the freekick? Why do we put up with this week after week?

The line is now drawn, Jenas OUT and NOW !!! or we could end up going down, forget top 4.

I think we will be playing Southend United next season and from our performances deservedly so. Changing the manager won't make any difference, look at when we saked francis and got gross, things went from bad to worse. we've got to roll with the punches and expect to go down I've been a Spurs fan since the mid eighties and been a club member since the mid 90s but i'm fed up now. today i smashed my projector when that 3rd goal went in. Why did MJ come out with such public support of JJ this week.

Jenas is utter shite, he goes
missing for 30 mins at a time.

MJ must drop him like he did Davids with recent games.

Who the hell let our only backup winger go out on season loan.

Jenas is not a winger, a winjer maybe but not a winger.

Losing/missed chances/confidence is a self eroding disease, we need to stop the rot soon or we're in danger of meltdown.

Our left back with a shit name what is he on? where do they find this fucked up players? who's our scout? I'm sure Comolli still works for the scum.Jenas he can fuck off to he is a fuckin' PUSSY, how bout our keepr? England's number 1 :)really! please somebody tell me why and how? we've lost out on CL last season cuz of him. anyway it's back to normal we have got our old tottenham back. Why can't we do the simple stuff,
we're in danger of becoming (dare I say it) like the scum by trying to walk the ball in, shoot fo god's sake it's not hard
ball, foot
foot, ball,
goal

instead we seem to do....
ball, foot
foot, ball
crowd/post/crossbar/roof/defender

Tell me how many keepers we've actually tested this season ?

I'm having trouble seeing where any goals are gonna come from.
Everyone except King and Dawson are so off the ball, why, none of them had a long run in the World Cup ?

Something's wrong off the pitch if you ask me. No one is grabbing the game by the scruff and taking it to teams.

Defoe looks totally disinterested.

I said all along, in the offseason if you were to get rid of anyone, get rid of the worthless Jenas, and the notoriously lazy Defoe, not carrick. Imagine if we still had Carrick and Zokora in the midfield, with a different striker up front with robbie. It would be a different story. And WHY, OH WHY do we not trust Routledge? Can anybody tell me? Even if he's backing up Lennon on the right? Europe=depth for a squad, does it not? Who cares who's happy or not, for not getting as much time on the pitch as they'd like. This season is out of control and Jol and Levy are to blame. We need goals and points quickly or I'm vying for a Klinsmann return to the Lane. With his vision of pace and passion for going at the goal, he'd be the saviour for this speedy squad.

oi. read the post !!! for 65 mins we matched and sometimes outplayed liverpool in their own back yard. we created chances but simply didnt take them.
if jenas had scored, if defoe had scored etc tc.
to sit there an hour after the game and slate jol and jenas - ffs.
things MUST improve and they will.
if we had played poor and got beat 3-0, fair enough, but we deserved a point and can count ourselves unlucky.
tainio needs a rest, swap him for ziegler against portsmouth. also, benny is showing his inexperience - at fault for their first 2 goals and should be rotated with lee next time out.
i thought today was actually a vast improvement on last time out.

keep the faith.

And I thought I was the jinx of Spurs. Everytime i followed a spurs match, it always seems like we were the poorer team all the time. Though Jol has done well last season, I believe that it has something to do with the great luck we had last year, where we managed to win alot of matches, despite playing like shite! I guess its time Jol stopped protecting the players, and let them know that he means business. I believe Jose would have sold players like Jenas who have underperformed since dunno when. Or Fergie would have let the whole team have a taste of his famous hair dryer treatment. That's the difference between a title winning manager and ours!

Our team has proved they couldn’t score in a brothel, even if they tried!!

The Board has backedn Jol with significant funds in order to make a challenge on the top 4 teams.

But whoever made the decision to loan Rouledge out in order to get the crocked Malbranque, should be sacked with immediate effect.

Curbishley has been quoted as saving he’s looking for a return to management in October. So if Jol does not turn things round in the next 3 to 5 games, he will be sacked, and could be replaced by Curbishley. Or would we want Sven? After all he did attend quite a lot of games at White Hart Lane last season in his England manager role!!!!

analysis:
1. Liverpool had about 65% of possession. We kept passing the ball back to them when we had the ball.
2. Jol should have told Robinson to be quick at releasing the ball, but not by lumping it forward as if Mido was up front. We started with Defoe and Keano, so what chances have they got against hyppia? Do we only have one way of playing? i.e. long ball.
3. Jenas did make a lung busting 50-60 yard run to finally miss from 5. But where the heck was Defoe/Keano the strikers?! Or Murphy?
4. Otherwise, Jenas, Defoe, Murphy did not do enough by way of effort and/or intelligence.
5. I would like Jol to be successful but without Carrick, he's just out of his depth, tactical-wise.

Jol is tottenhams weakest link. Give any half decent manager this squad of players and we would be struggling to string three passes togther. Its basic training ground stuff, pass and movement, basic technique. We dont look capable of ideas or any sort of passing move, its all sideways passes followed by a big lump up field. A decent manager wouldnt be stumped as soon as we lose Lennon.

King is as guilty as Jenas, Mido and De-foe against Man U,at least he run 60 yards to get there but god knows how he missed. The point is no-one else would have been on the end of it. If only we could get the first goal, Everton, Fulham and Liverpool would have been so different. It's becoming a matter of confidence now, we must stay behind the team and hope the creative players come back asap, remember for an hour we had put in a good solid away performance but the heads did drop when we went behind.
Robinson pony at the mo- flapping at crosses as for long shots he was no where near the middle of his goal for 3rd goal, 3rd time already he's been beaten from long range-Bolton and Man U. Maybe give Cerny a chance, let them all know no-one is guaranteed a place.....

Played 6, won 1, drawn 1 and lost 4. Goals for 2, against 8. -6 goal difference.

Clearly this is relegation form!!! And is totally unacceptable!!!

I keep saying the midfield is shite, and this has been proved yet again.

*Tainio is not an outside left winger (unlike Zigler), which is what we need.

* Zokora is getting better but must improve his forward runs plus produce some through ball passes.

* Murphy is just not god enough, and Jol must stop saying he is having good games. Clearly wrong!!
Jol should have faith in Huddlestone, he can defend + produce shome decent attacking passes.

* Jenas, not a right sided winger and it shows!! But beggars cannot be choosers, when some lunatic decided to loan Routledge (Lennon's only backup player)out to Fulham!! Routledge cannot be recalled until January!!!

Incedentally, Defoe is a confidence player and clearly has has displayed none. He therefore cannot be counted on to score goals!!

Unless the midfield improves, we are unlikely to win any of the next 3 to 5 league games, which will defintely result in Jol being sacked.

I wouldn't be inclined to get on Jol's back after today's performance. I was really pleased with how we were playing for the first hour. It's hardly ideal to be playing the two little men up front but Mido hasn't been at the races since he returned. I was relatively pleased with Murphy and would like him to be retained in the starting line-up for a few more games at least. Jenas has been driving me up the wall but I don't feel I can put the boot in considering he's being played horribly out of position. I'm genuinely embarassed by our wretched sequence of results but I don't have any solutions. Gift-wrap goals for guys and they still can't put 'em away...........

Huddlestone should be used as our defensive midfielder. He can defend, plus make some great attacking passes as he did against Slavia Prague.

The Spurs website said: On 89 minutes Riise picked up the ball and advanced forward. Not closed down quickly the full-back took aim and rocketed the ball past Robinson and into the net.

Huddlestone would have stopped this goal happening.

Robinson should be dropped to shake him up, He keeps letting in long range shots!!

Please can someone get this info direct to Jol?

ojzrrovI have read all the comments posted. I clearly stated in my earlier messages that Robinson is playing without confidence and Cerny should be given a go(Like in pre-season/unbeaten) - Lee could cover left mid field or left wing. Huddlestone and Ghaly need to be given a proper run.MJ is making too many changes match to match. You may want to slag me off again as in the past, but I did predict that we would be in a relegation battle this year. MJ has lost the plot and JJ should have bben dropped weeks ago. As for the Routledge situation, what more can I say. I am afraid it will be relegation this year and MJ gone. Pity I love Spurs but the way the are playing at the moment is the worst I have ever seen in 45 yrs of supporting them

A defensive midfielder!!! It's not a f*****g defensive midfielder that we're needing. Who gives a shit if we're 2-0 down and we stop Riise's long shot. By that time we're stretched and chasing the game. That's why Riise wasn't closed down. We need some attacking flair and width if we want to get anywhere.

I agree with some of the other posts calling for Jenas to be dropped. I don't think he's that bad but let's give Ghaly a try and see if we even notice that Jenas isn't on the pitch. Ghaly looked promising against Man U. and he set up what should have been Mido's goal with a great cross. Not sure he'll provide the width that we need but maybe some creativity.

is there a less cohesive and dangerous team in the whole league?

We are totally toothless , one dimentional and one paced. We have no idea how to breka a side down and spend teh majority of every game passing it side to side along our back four before finally lumping it upfield.

What exactly does Jol do in training practice every day? I dont mind losing as much as losing whilst playing cautious, toothless defensive mided football.

Jol must go, he got lucky with these tactics last year snatching a few wins from games that could have gone either way, but time has shown that he has no plan b no flexibility. I thought fair enough he is settling for results over performances last season, to get our confidence up and this season we will finish off our squad and sort the football side out... how wrong was i? Jol cannot get his sides playing decent football. Its not a blip in form its Jols luck running out.

10:12 PM- What game where you watching?

Our midfield is shite. No proper defensive midfielder, nor a proper right sided winger. This says it all!!!

The table does not lie. We are 17th out of 20. See table below.

P GD Pts
1 Chelsea 6 8 15
2 Portsmouth 5 9 13
3 Man Utd 6 8 13
4 Aston Villa 6 5 12
5 Everton 5 6 11
6 Liverpool 6 2 10
7 Reading 6 1 10
8 Arsenal 5 3 8
9 Bolton 5 1 8
10 Blackburn 6 -2 8
11 Fulham 6 -4 8
12 Man City 6 -3 7
13 Newcastle 5 -2 6
14 Wigan 5 -1 5
15 West Ham 6 -3 5
16 Middlesbrough 6 -5 5
17 Tottenham 6 -6 4
18 Watford 6 -3 3
19 Charlton 6 -7 3
20 Sheff Utd 6 -7 2

If that is not relegation form, what is?

Jol has three more league games to get some points:

Home 1st Oct Portsmouth
Away 14th Oct Aston Villa
Home 21st Oct West Ham
Away 28th Oct Watford

Two of them are home games. If we do not at least get 8 points out of 12, then we wil definitely be in the relegation zone, and detached in points from the teams above us.

In those circumstances, Jol will definitely be sacked!! Lurking to replace him will be Curbishly or Sven. Longshot Klinnsmann.

After reading some of these comments I am becoming ashamed to support my beloved Spurs. Before last season we had never finished above 7th in the Prem and now everyone wants our Jolly Dutch Giant to go after 4 defeats including 2 at Anfield and Old Trafford that could easily have turned out better for us. I agree with everything that's been said aout Jenas, Robinson, Defoe and Routledge, but the confidence of the players is hardly going to improve when the fans call for their heads rather than giving support. When a manager is appointed he should be given 3 years minimum to shape a team. Don't underestimate the difficulty in replacing Carrick - he was the fulcrum of most of our attacks last year. It's been quoted many times before - but 20 years ago Sir Alex was nearly sacked - then look what happened. There's still loads of games to go and I sam sure that a couple of wins and a couple of goals will get everything going again. If Jol goes though - I fear a season with a caretaker and look what happened with our last caretaker! For me it's more depressing to think that players these days feel they have to be at one of the Big 4 to win things. With that attitude no club will ever break through consistently - if you want to blame anyone for our current plight then it's Carrick. I'm sure though that there is a lot of satisfaction in helping a team as lowly as Man Utd come second to Chelsea!

I agree that Jol shouldn't be forced out just yet. We are a fickle lot. In a marriage you can't just enjoy it when things go well then give up as soon as things get a bit rocky. As fans we have a part to play by sticking with the club through thick and thin. If we were playing poorly all the time then fair enough. At the moment we just need that bit of luck. This all adds up to why we are losing games, and in serious danger of relegation.

JJ is one of the laziest players i have ever seen at spurs and an attitude problem is evident when he plays, but more worrying is that jol has not recognised it and not dealt with it. Which brings me on nicely to Jol.. I do like him, but has his time come ?...Danny Murphy chose charlton above us and when he didnt make the grade there, Jol decided to pay 2 million for him.. For What ???? Defoe not quick enough, not strong enough, not clever enough and will do better in a team which create more chances, and i also think Robbie kean lacks consistancy and should be part of a clear out. The difference is CARRICK (who apparently Manure prawn sandwich eaters think played shit for them today - shows what fuc*ing stupid cu*ts they are). No Carrick + 14.5m - Routledge + garlic smelling crock = No fuc*ing goals! The problem = horse eating c*nt Commoli who has comprehenisvely fu*ked up the best Prem team we have ever had - he must be Wenger's f'in cousin, send the useless cu*t back to the land of wengerpaedophilia now, send Davids to a proper f*ing optician and jenas to train with the youth team. Play Huddlestone and Ziegler and maybe we might just score a f*ing goal. Fuc* fu** f*** ***********************

This was only the second three goal defeat under Jol’s leadership!! Totally unacceptable!!

The last three goal defeat was a totally inauspicious occasion at Selhurst Park in January, 2005, when beaten by Palace by the same scoreline. It is the worst defeat to Liverpool since 8th November, 1997, when Gerry Francis walked out after a 4-0 thrashing.

By my reckoning, the loss of 4 out of the first 6 games, matches such start we had in 1974. Then, we lost the first 4 games, beat Derby, then travelled to Anfield and lost 5-2. A few days later, Middlesbrough beat us 4-0 at The Lane in the League Cup, and the managerial career of Spurs legend Bill Nicholson came to a sad end.

Dejavu or what?

Jol must sort out the midfield and strikers, or we will not win any games in the next 5. This will result in Jols sacking. Facts are facts!!

i think the confidence spreads from the back. robbo needs to be dropped just for say 2 3 games and give cerny a go. he punches too much rather than catches.
ekotto is showing his inexperience, lee should play the next few games.
huddlestone deserves a run with ghaly.
to call for jol out, after what was a very good performance for an hour, is ludicrous.

team for portsmouth

Cerny

chimbonda
king
dawson
lee

ghaly
huddlestone
zakora
ziegler

mido

THE GOOD: Chimbo, Daws, and Zok. That's it so far this season.
Will it get better? One can only hope, with Lennon & Berbs back perhaps... but will it be too late?

THE BAD: Robinson needs a rest, but how would he react to one? Probably demand a transfer.
Defoe lacks the type of service he thrives on - hence his "disinterested" looks at the likes of Jenas' poor crossing/lack of ideas.
Jenas sucks and should be dropped for Lee at RM.
Ziegler & Hud deserve a run.
Murphy actually made some nice chances today, which were wasted, but he lacks the quality and pace.
Keane is struggling.
Davids is way past his best, and his "leadership" is undone when his teamates watch him give the ball away needlessly.
Ekotto is Atouba all over again. Bring back Edman ffs.

THE UGLY: So-called Spurs fans calling for Jol's head. Is it Jol's fault players waste chances? Certainly not. Granted, his tactics and team selection are sometimes difficult to understand, but the players seem to like him, and his honesty is refreshing. Too soon to judge him, especially as he's not been able to field his best 11 yet.

Ok we have had a horrible run of fixtures (when do we ever get points at Bolton away, liverpool away & Man U anywhere). Everton are one of the most in-form teams in the league so that was always going to be difficult (just ask liverpool). We've had injuries to our club captain and defensive lynchpin, our most creative outlet and our new 10mil striker. Despite all of this you guys are demanding the head of the manager who has lead us to our highest ever premier league finish last season after just 6 games?!?! Come on guys, I know everyone is more that a little p*ssed after events today but a little perspective is required here I think...

Ok bad start...Jol needs to balance out the midfield by playing right sided plaers on the right and left sided players on the left...Under the current situation Lee Salteri would do a job on the flanks just till we get better players in.

Michael Carrick is a cunt! If he had stayed for just one more season we would be playing CL. Im sure jol before and during preseason based everything around Carrick a player he pulled out of the reserves after Santini left.

What was all that about buying young british talent. We sold our main british talent who wanted to leave anyway and signed pure foriegners.

Defoe is such a fucking child i will be glad if he goes to Chelsea ManU or The Pool cause this immature player needs to wait in the box until somebody passes the ball to him exacly where he wants it. He cannot create for others he has a shit work rate...Lazy cunt never jumping for 50/50 balls cause he to small always trotting around ball watching. He needs a kick up the arse or ship him out in January...Ive lost patience with the little cunt.

Jenas is another lazy fuck head, if this cunt wasn`t so lazy he would be as good as Gerrard, but he`s lazy and will never be as good as Gerrard. Hes too fucking laid back. Someone give him a slap!

Anyway i do like jol, but if this continues and loose the next three to five games then i say Klinsmann.

Spurs have had the same problems for years ... we seriously lack creativity out wide, we are so narrow and our central players aint creative enough to open up defences, when was the last time you saw us split a team open and score inside the six yard boxfrom when the ball was delivered from wide... not since Ginola !!!!

Jol should have used Huddelstone instead of Murphy. Mido instead of Defoe. And Zigler instead of Tainio!!!

We have now played 6, won 1, drawn 1 and lost 4. Goals for 2, against 8. If that is not relegation form, what is?

Jol has three more league games to get at least 7 out of 9 points:

Home 1st Oct Portsmouth
Away 14th Oct Aston Villa
Home 21st Oct West Ham

So Jol must sort out the midfield + strikers, othwise he faces the sack!!

Not changing what clearly isn't working is a recipe for disaster.

Jenas needs to go NOW, wake up Jol.

I aslo don't agree with all this drop Robbo crap.

Midfield is the problem. I'd go 4,1,3,2 with Huddlestone behind, Zakora, Ziegler, and Tainio.

Murphy, Jenas and Defoe look totally disinterested. Did you see the look Defoe gave Jenas in the game, talk about f@#k you.

2)If we fail to win the next 2 home games then Jol should go. Jurgen K or Lippi will help us sort out this mess with the current team.

3) Levy, I really hope you have some backup plans.

We are turning the corner??!!!! hahahahahaha..

we outplayed Liverpoola dn Utd away and ere unlucky not to get something ...Hhahahahahaha

what airy fairy world do you people live on? Are you oblivious to the real world? Just look at the stats if you need further proof. hey hgad three times as many shots as us and more possession.

and Utd, Bolton and Liverpool away were always going to be losses were they? And everton were on form? oh thats ok then.

Shal we list Pompey and Villa to that list of teams on form and probable losses? Reading yoo perhaps and Blackburn are always tricky so we should expect much there. ?Arsenal and Chelsea presumably are also lost before we start. So thats 8-10 teams and 16-20 games we can just write off in typically excuse ridden ambitionless spurs style.

We are toothless and one dimensional. Jols tactis consist of hoofing it to a big front man or relying on Lennon, maybe thats why we cant expoect to beat anyone with a bit of savvy?

Has Jol ever employed another tactic? have we ever beaten a team by passing and movement, opening up space etcc....like all other clubs try and do? In all his time here he has been obsessed with the big man little man up front, what other reason than becuase he is looking for knockdowns from long balls?

Admit it or not, Jol looks like he has run out of ideas. Any decent team can shut up shop against us safe in teh knowlegde we will just keep launching long balls to their centre backs.,

MARK D.
There was nothing we could do about Carrick - he wanted to leave. Ferguson messed up Spurs before when he got Sheringham. He always buys up players he sees as a threat!
Robbie Keane right midfield please....he can beat a player and cross! Possibly put Jenas in the centre with Zokora then there are no excuses for Jenas get lost in a game (you gotta admire the run before the miss not his crossing though).
The main concern for me is Davids, the Spurs team don't seem to be on his wavelength - the pass out wide before recieving the ball back was lame he did run down the wing well as he was on the pitch for a minute or so but I was screaming square it ages before he finally did and did he really have to fire the ball across a hard as he did?Jenas should have scored I know but some players just bring out the worst in you.
After that, Liverpool scored and then Davids passed at least 3 times stright to a Liverpool player and I mean Fucking disasterous forward passes which should have been punished. Davids strengths are tackling and safe passing to the side - he ain't nooooo Glenn Hoddle!
As for Martin Jol, I think you'll get the measure of him when we play a confident Portsmouth team with Harry Redknapp (a knowledgeable prem manager) who has always used foreigners and a previously hopeless Aston Villa with an inspiring Martin O'niell.
At the end of the day I don't think it can worse, 3 very hard away games but against Man U and Liverpool I was quite impressed but what is Jol saying at half time? I get the impression that some of the Spurs players feel they've done enough after 45 minutes??? I was totally cheesed of with the Fulham game, Spurs should have buried them.
Something ain't right down the lane................................................................................?

What's with all this...Jenas ran 70 yards crap. For crying out loud :o He's a highly tuned athlete, the guy gets paid more in a month than most of of us do in a year and lives a privaleged life.

He needs to be dropped NOW, show me one game where is was outstanding or gave 99%, lots of potential but no output.

I've been pro Jol for a while now, but I'm sorry cracks are starting to appear in my faith. For christ sake please, please, please try someone or something new. Huddlestone, Ghaly, Ziegler and something other than this long-ball-big-man-small-man-wierd- substitution crap.

As for the Routledge situation, well I'm majorly pissed off to see tons of runs and crosses against Chelsea. Heads should roll for this debacle.

If we get a 0-0 on Thursday, Levy will be getting my season ticket and a demand for compensation. See how he likes watching a pile of poo week-in-week-out.

From reading alot of the comments many people seem to think they would do a better job than BMJ and thats just silly really isnt it. Nobody will argue that results are going against us , we cant buy a goal at the moment and things so far are not going to plan or how we had hoped. But with all that said, BMJ and the boys do not deserve to be slated like they have been over the past few weeks they really dont. This is our worst run of form since hes been here using players he brought to the club so in my reckoning he and team should be getting nothing but support because they earned it when they earned our respect last year by giving us the best season in a very long time. This is not blind faith as some might say or an emotional rant infact its far from it.Blind faith comes as standard but I look around our squad and I see quality all over in every position were just having a very bad run of things at the moment I think we have to many quality players for it to continue much longer. Its times like this when the boys really do need the support of the fans and times like this that make or break a season. Its the minority spouting out the bad vibes and its easy to do when things are going against you. Im sure come the end of the season though they will be singing a different tune when the team turns it around because its still early days. Get behind the team theres a long way to go.

I am not one to over react.
Last season was for so many reasons a fluke.
We were never truly worthy of 5th place let alone 4th.
Think back to last season and be honest.
How many of our wins were truly deserved.
Less than half.
How many times did we score with one chance bvt watch the opposition miss loads.

selling Carrick was madness as he was our only quality creative midfielder.
THe fact Wenger wanted him is enough to convince me of his quality.
Zokora is potential but will take a season to settle.
Davids is at best a bit part squad player but not good enough to play 50 games a season.
Jenas is painfully inconsistent.
Lennon is injured and Huddlestone and Tainio are only squad players.
The front boys are a disaster.
Mido has been anonymous. Think his loss of weight has robbed him of his strength.

Defoe looks disinterested. Keane has lost his spark.
I think the reason is the lousy service from midfield

In defence we have twp lions in the middle but our full backs who are now the boys to give us width have been poor.

Robinson is not the best any more and should be dropped for a while.

Jol ???

Poor signings
Poor tactics
Too many excuses.

Sounds like relegation unless he goes soon.

Something is not right down the lane. Something is not right with our supporters. Something is not right with the Management. Something is not right with Comelli. Something is not right with Houghton. Something is not right with Levi. Are we all gone mad. During the summer it looked like a new dawning.I believe the problems arose because of the FRUSTRATIONS with the transfers before the last window closed. We only got Chimbonda at the 11th hour. The team was thrown together. No wonder they are listless and lacking confidence. All of us are getting on their back including myself. I am as pissed off as anyone, but we can turn this around. Sacking MJ is NOT the answer, but he does need to change back to a Spurs way of playing again and real soon. Give Robinson a rest as he looks like he has issues that need to be resolved. The main problem is of course the lack of width, we all know that, and the Routledge situation is mad, but we msut play with what we have and not what we hope we had. Come on, get behind the team and the management, they will get us through this, I have no doubts.

-Tables after 6 game show form... Tables at the end of the season don't lie!
-As for Jenas. Scapegoat comes to mind. Fickle fans miss the 80 yard lung busting run to get on the end of David's cross.
-3 games or he'll get sacked. Give Over. Jol is another scapegoat like Rafa was with Liverpool before 2 results. Unfortunately, for Spurs chances dont win games, its goals and its only a matter of time before one goes in.

Agree that anyone getting on Jol's back needs to grow up, but he needs to show his steel and lead (inspire) the team. They look disinterested. Even Keane isn't getting fired up and harranging the opposition.

Don't agree with people's comments about JJ's 70/90 yard runs. It's what he trains/gets paid/is there to do.

I thought that Murphy was actually quite quality against Liverpool. I don't think Huddleston would have done as well. Zeigler is a left full back, using him in right midfield is a bit of a stretch, although I don't really see any other option. Do we not have any decent wingers in the youth team? We might have to change formations, we can't keep playing 4 central mids and pretending we have width.
