Transfer update and UEFA cup

The signing that was apprently going to be announced today has been delayed but reliable sources on FTL still claim that a left winger is in the bag and will be done before the deadline.

Spurs have been drawn against Slavia Prague with the away leg first. The home leg will be played on the 28th of September. Official travel packages will be announced on the official website in due course.

is the signing that got delayed a left winger, or is this a separate signing to the left winger that is supposedly in the bag?

ENIC own 96% of Slavia Prague, which might help.

I hope it doesn't. We don't want to get done for match fixing. I think our style of play will be suited to europe, especially if we have a leftie to balance things a bit better. We'll scare the life out of opposition defences. More speed than a ferrari. Does anyone think buying another quality CB to play 352 in europe has any merit?
